I think Anet should get rid of the bonus 2 faction for 5 wins in a row- some low level player may accidentally unlock something, and what then ?

yeah, faction needs to be changed to that you can only unlock 15k armor for your pvp characters. i mean really, what is this whole player skill matters more than time played business? the people who have had the game since april should be able to beat anyone who just picked up the game, regardless of their skill.

I think they're fussy about making sure people don't benefit from being good. Heavans forbid someone who took the time to make a good build get a benefit out of it... that might sound too much like skill over time played.

You want 15K armor? Play the game as a PvE character, and leave the PvP to their stand boring armor sets.

Arenas shouldn't have faction at all... Neither should Hall of Heroes since it has its own awards in and of itself. ONLY Guild battles... OH that's right That's practically the way it is already. isn't it. Must be why its called GUILD Wars.

Play a few Guild battles and WIN and you find that you get more then enough faction to get nearly anything. I started working on weapon upgrades now. all my runes are gone from the list from faction and PvE unlocks... I suppose I could get a couple elite skills I'm missing. but really its easier to capture them then to waste my time unlocking with faction just for that...

I just get sick and tired of waiting hours for a GvG match cause all PvP players ever want to do is the Tomb.

I don't see what is wrong with it. If PVP and PVE are equal, then why do pve'rs feel they need to keep things for them selves. Point of PVP builds is rinse and repeat. PVE is rinse and hope it is clean.

Playing for hours on end to get 50 ecto's may seem like fun for a PvEr But not for the casual person.

Keep in mind that I play both.

Keep in mind that I play both.

In the case of the Fissure armor, I couldn't care less about them, too much of a grind.

In the case of 15K armor (Normal ones) again I don't feel PvP should have them. Why would they need them? People in PvE save up to get them, so its rewarding, there no need for PvP to have them.

If anything they should allow PvP to unlock special looking PvP only armor

grand idea! But yea, I don't think they should just 'get' them right away, I think they should earn them with faction, like 10k faction per piece. Thats LOT of playing before a full set.

Man I wish the act of purchasing a 15k armor piece unlocked that piece for when you made PVP characters. And the act of dying a piece of armor unlocked that dye color.

I like the idea of unlocking fissure/15k armor for the PVP only characters. I've already got more faction points saved up than I can spend, so I need something else to spend them on. I wouldn't be opposed to a 10k to 15k faction point rule to unlock a piece, sounds perfectly fair to me. What good are faction points if you have nothing to spend them on?

I can't believe that you guys missed my obvious sarcasm. I'm in favor of a 37x increase of faction, not some ridiculous 15k armor unlocking for PvP characters sceme. I could not care less about 15k armor for PvP characters. What I do care about, however, is for new players to have the ability to pick up the game and not have to grind 600 hours to be competitive in PvP.
